Electronic Survey System -
The Informant
The Informant Electronic Survey System - This customer survey
device in the shape of a tip tray lets you know immediately what
patrons think about your food, service, etc.
Electronic Survey Device
How do your guests feel about the service they've received?
Did they like the new menu item?
Would they recommend your restaurant to a friend?
These are some of the questions that you will have instant responses
to each night.
The Informant is a low-cost, highly effective tool for managing
your business. It offers real-time data that every restaurateur
can use. It provides up-to-the-minute information that helps you
determine what you are doing right and what needs improvement. The
Informant is actually a tip tray which stores data that can later
be downloaded to an internet site or corporate headquarters from
a base unit.
Replace expensive Mystery Shoppers. Unlike secret shoppers
that give only a snap shot in time, the Informant monitors your
operation continuously. You can use the data you receive to enhance
your operation the next night. Instead of calling 800 numbers within
5 days, guests complete the survey while they are at the restaurant.
The real-time data from the Informant allows managers to be proactive
instead of reactive.
With its built-in promotional feature, the Informant can be programmed
to randomly select winners from those who take the survey, thus
increasing your feedback. The Informant can be programmed to page
a manager when an unsatisfactory response is entered. The Informant
also doubles as a calculator for guests figuring tips and split
checks.
The Informant, "It's like eating dinner with your guests."
Front Desk Wait Management System
The
Wait Reducer - This is what every restaurant needs because ...
"The most expensive thing
in a restaurant is an open table"
The Wireless Wait Reducer® will increase table turnover
and improve staff communication. This system is ideal for speeding
up table turns and reducing labor costs associated with hostess
staff inefficiencies. With the "Waiter Reducer" you will
have no more wasted time running around scribbling open table numbers
on pads of paper and hand delivering it back up to the hostess stand.
Send "open tables", "tables being bussed" and
"seated tables" back to the front desk immediately...electronically!
The
Wait Reducer consists of a transmitter, T1200, and a receiver,
R1200. This wireless table management system displays table status
as open (available), seated, bussed, or reserved. This system is
ideal for use in multi-level buildings, large banquet areas, or
any restaurant where all tables are not visible to the host station.
The system is simple to use; a manager or roaming host can have
complete control of table turns from the back of the house. Additional
transmitters may be purchased for multiple floors or rooms.
It only takes a few minutes to get your system up and running:
- A person programs the host Wait Reducer receiver with each table
number in the restaurant.
- Host/hostess monitors the 4"x 8" receiver as tables become open,
bussed, or reserved.
- Table information is passed from a roaming manager or hostess
using the hand-held keypad
- Both units (receiver and transmitter) have a built in battery
pack. This is ideal for host stations without power.
- Unlike 2-way radios, there is no "chit-chat" going on between
staff members.
Each transmitter comes with a nylon holster that can attach to
a person's belt.
The Butler Security Alert
System
The
Butler Security System offers back-door and walk-in alerts when
doors are opene.
Butler Security System Transmitter is a very simple transmitter
that activates either the Star Pager series of pagers or our battery-operated
line of pagers. The unit is self-contained and does not require
any special wiring or mounting hardware. It can last up to one year
before the battery needs replacing (depending on your usage).
Butler has 4 independent triggers. Two triggers are normally open
and two are normally closed. The triggers use contact closures and
not voltage to sense an activity. Each trigger can send a unique
message to Star Pager. As an example, if you have programmed trigger
#1 to display "4," then every time it is tripped, a "4"
light will show on the Star Pager. If you'd like, the Butler can
be configured on a PC with included software.
Butler can activate either all pagers or just 1 pager. For example,
you may wish to notify just a manager when a door is opened instead
of alerting the entire staff.
Each Butler is shipped with four 6-foot cables and two magnetic
switch sensors for doors. Essentially any relay closure can be connected
to the Butler making it easy to interface many different products
such as temp sensors, water levels sensors, etc.
To-Go or Pick-Up Service Alert
The Butler also serves well as a push button transmitter
for To-Go or Pick-Up service. Simply mount the transmitter
near the To-Go counter. When a patron arrives, he simply pushes
a button and the staff is notified of waiting customers.
