Your AccuBar software is designed to automate and simplify the tasks involved in taking inventory. It does this by allowing you to scan the manufacturer's barcode that is already on each liquor bottle you have in stock. Once you scan the bottle, using your handheld unit, an image matching the shape of the bottle appears on your screen. You then simply tap the screen at the level on the silhouette that matches the level of the liquor in the bottle. That bottle is now inventoried.

AccuBar also allows simple entry of multiple full bottles, cases or other quantities. If tracking breakage is important to you, AccuBar can track empty bottles as well. Once you've scanned and entered everything in your inventory, you simply send the data by internet to the AccuBar server. It will sort and process your data then send you a detailed report of your inventory via e-mail or fax within about 2 minutes.

AccuBar's value doesn't end there. Your inventory is placed on our secure password protected Web site, where you'll be able to access it online and check or sort the data however you like from wherever you like via the internet.

AccuBar will give you a total valuation for your inventory enabling you to determine accurate and timely liquor cost.

How it Works

AccuBar simplifies your life through the marriage of a handheld computer and the Internet. To take inventory, you walk around your bar and scan the items you wish to inventory. This is possible because the handheld computer that comes with your system is a totally self-sufficient unit when it comes to counting your inventory.

When you have finished taking inventory, the power of AccuBar is fully realized through the use of the Internet. To get your inventory reports, all you have to do is connect to the Internet and send the inventory data from your handheld to our Internet server. The process is totally automated & takes just a few seconds. The entire process is illustrated on the following page.

Take your inventory When taking inventory, you use the handheld computer's barcode scanner to scan the manufacturer's UPC code on the bottle. When the barcode is recognized, you simply enter the amount by tapping the fluid level. Full items are tallied by pressing a button, or by entering the count directly.
Send inventory to AccuBar server When your inventory is complete, you send the inventory data to our secure server using a HotSync cradle or a handheld modem. Simply select the inventory and hit Send.
Server creates reports & emails them back to you Once we have received your data, we immediately crunch the numbers and email your reports back to you. You should have reports in your inbox within minutes.
